So I did it. I kicked out my best friend. It was painful, but not messy. he went without a fuss. I was the only fussy one. I a still overly emotional, the saltwater threatens all my food at this point, not just the granola. I am still a wreck, but I have a pleading eye on the prize;there is a bit of hope.
5 Things You Need to Know Before You Turn 30
So life goes at a fast pace and when you are young, you have the energy to keep up. You’re running along, working, having a social life, maybe partying a bit…and then something tragic happens. Your biological clock ticks one final time for 29 and then you turn 30. At that point, for no reason I can fathom, it’s like you suddenly hit a wall, stick there for a minute, then slowly ooze your way down to the floor.
When Life Gives You Lemons, Buy Your Own Damn Fruit
I hate lemonade. It’s sour, and gives me heartburn. I even have trouble stomaching the pink stuff. So why is it that life always seems to think we need or want lemons? The saying “When life hands you lemons, make lemonade” has always bothered me. I mean, it’s good advice and all that. But there’s just something not quite right about it. It’s a little too settled. Resigned, maybe-that’s the word. Hmm. It’s one saying I don’t like to just accept. In this post I’m here to say screw lemonade! Not Another Covid Post!
The year has flown by and I have yet to talk to anybody about how the pandemic affected me. I am forever changed, and not all the changes have been bad. I have seen glimmers of hope in the last couple of months, and you are a part of that. That said, some of the events that have taken place over the year 2020 have scarred me forever and led to things I regret. Without further introduction, I present to you my very own Covid story.
Let’s Get It!
Everyone has different talents. Some of us sing, some sew, others run fast (not me). And we all put our own unique touch on what we do well. This is fantastic-diversity is great and makes for excellent collaboration. But there are some skills out there that everyone can benefit from developing. This is because some aspects of human nature are simply set in stone, until, that is, we evolve away from them. For example, humans communicate with each other. I bet you can think of more, but we will not go into it all here. So I now present to you my list of five skills that everyone should develop.
