Why I ❤️ Sagittarius

And You Should Too

Hello dear readers, it is that time of month again where we transition from one astrological sign to another and this month brings us the season of the Sagittarius! I love this sign not only because I have a Sag daughter and a Sag sister, but for all of the lovely traits and compatibility that go along with being born between November 22 and December 21. I am excited to learn more about this sign with you as we journey together through this Sagittarius season. So let’s go!

Mantra: I See

Sagittarius is the centaur or archer of the zodiac. A fire sign ruled by Jupiter, they strongly connect with their hips, thighs, and liver (just as Taurus connects to the throat). Their tarot card is Temperance and they carry the mantra, “I see”, which connects deeply to who they are at the very core: Truth Seekers.

Sagittarius wanders, but not mindlessly. They actively seek answers. They take a broad-minded approach to life and are often very interested in philosophy and religion, because these disciplines help their internal quest to find the truth. Sagittarius wants to know the meaning of life perhaps more than anyone and is willing to take a road that will lead them to it.

Aspects

The Sagittarius is half human and half beast; therefore we must bear in mind their deep balance between the cultured, refined side of them and the more bestial and wild side. A Sag is trustworthy, hilarious, and a lover of freedom. They are steadfast friends and creative thinkers and can really get down and blaze a trail, loving to have adventures all their own.

Sagittarius can get bored easily and walk away, and they sure can stir a pot. They may not research things as much as others do before expounding upon them, but they are intellectuals. They tell the truth, sometimes without rounding sharpened corners or adding sugar. This way they can hurt people, but they don’t mean to. They are actually very empathetic.

A Sagittarius is true to themselves and honest. They will approach relationships with this baseline. If it is not working then it is not working, and they will not stay to spare another person’s feelings. But they will be adventurous and free-spirited in the bedroom while it lasts, and will want to try everything and turn sex into an adventure.

A Sagittarius is independent and strong-willed. They value learning and are also open-hearted and generous. As parents they tend to be non-hierarchical and can relate to kids on their own terms. As a friend they are very open-minded and non-judgemental and would be more than happy to help set fire to an ex-lover’s house.

Sagittarius is larger-than-life and has the ability to change and persuade. They combine philosophical with physical, they are ruled by a planet that is the biggest and best-the luckiest and most opportunistic of all.

We appreciate that we will always know where we stand with a Sagittarius. They are adaptable, non-possessive or materialistic, and jovial beings. They value personal integrity and have a difficult time following the status quo if it does not adhere to their own personal truth.
