Dear readers, it has been a few days since I have been around. I have been working on my November goal of making more money. It’s going okay. I looked up writing prompts today for lifestyle bloggers because I was stumped. I am experiencing writer’s block. Suck. Anyway, this topic was on the list and it sparked my interest. So what do you say? What would you say to your younger self? I don’t know for sure, but we’re about to find out!
Dear Andrea,
I know you are afraid, but you shouldn’t be. Everything will be okay. We can’t change the Way. All we can do is monitor our path and make sure we walk purposefully on it. I know you are a skeptic, and probably won’t believe much of what say, but try to hear me.
Life will be very hard for you. You need to be strong, always. Strength is probably your greatest gift; it is both physical and spiritual. Do not worry about what your body looks like, or whether you are liked by anyone. None of this will matter in the end.
Look to The Tao when you are lost. remember that you can find serenity and peace in meditation and yoga. Always walk with your head held high. It is your reality and you own it.
When the things that destroy come your way, if you choose to let them envelope you, remember there is still light in the world. When you have nobody and you feel completely abandoned, look inside yourself for comfort.
Your path is a dangerous one, full of traps. Darkness seeks to besiege you and destroy all that you are; but that is only because you are a shining one. Use your talents to save yourself. Do not look to the outside for help, for you will not find it.
Do not crumble when relationships go bad and end. The ones that do were never the right ones anyway. Do not seek for god, but seek for Truth, for light everlasting, and head toward it.
Know that nothing you can do now will change what the future will manifest. It was laid out by you and for you before the very beginning. The flaming arrows will pierce you and make you bleed until you are almost gone.
But in the end, light always wins, and you, dear child, are a being of light.
Love,
Andrea xo
Beautifully written. I enjoedy it. I’ve often heard of writing a letter to our younger self as a way to release emotional pain, or unnecessary baggage that might be holding us back. Love the idea and I must give it a try. Thanks for sharing 😍

Thank you Rebekah, I love it when people comment on my posts :). Writing to release emotionl pain or get rid of baggage sounds like a good idea. I think it would help, especially if a part of that included someone who had passed on.
